Works by local artists are displayed throughout the store.  In addition to local art, Black Cat Books is a distributor of Brian Andreas' books, prints, and wall art.

Bongo Billy's Coffee (www.bongobillys.com) of Buena Vista, Colorado, a variety of teas, and organic wine or beer are available for browsers.

Monthy Events include books clubs, writing and poetry groups, book signings, art openings which include "First Friday Art Openings."

Black Cat Books participates in a number of annual events:  Author Fest of the Rockies the 3rd weekend in October and the Manitou Springs Coffin Races the last weekend of October.
